About Us
Welcome to the home of the Lagosians, an association of Lagos State indigenes resident in the state of Illinois, USA. Our main goal is to help harness and develop the resources of Lagos State – Human and Materials, by encouraging our members to serve when the opportunity arises and by raising funds to educate our children through provision of scholarships.
We strive to assist the people and residents of Lagos State improve their quality of life. We realize -that in order to achieve this objective we must work with other entities that are committed as well to the development of the State - government and non-governmental organizations. We have therefore expanded our outreach programs.
Membership is open to indigenes from any of the five divisions that constitute Lagos State: Badagry,Epe, Ikeja Ikorodu and Lagos.
A decade and a half ago, members of the Nigerian community in the state of Illinois and across the United States gathered together to raise funds to provide assistance to the people and residents of Lagos State. Today, The Lagosians continue the tradition.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:
- To build a common ground for all indigenes of Lagos state
- To assist in the educational advancement of our people and educate our youths on development of Lagos State.
- To provide platforms for social and cultural interaction among the Lagosians and other Nigerians for Personal and group development as well as the development of Lagos state.
